To give my hair (and self) a much needed break from being dealt with, I put in a sew-in weave today! It’s big, and fabulous, and I love it! While I am committed to my natural hair, I do think that a longer length suits my face better. I think ill be recycling variations of this style until my own natural hair reaches a length that I’ll be happier with. Im not sure Izzy is a fan though. She keeps looking at me like ” Who the heck are you, and WHERE IS MY MOMMA???!!” lol.

OMG! You look so pretty!!! I’m jealous of your hair!! I wish I could do my own sew in! You need to do a blog you tube tutorial or something!!
Looks fantastic!
Love the hair!
very cute! I agree with you, long lengths fit me better too.
It looks Great! It’s not too long and it looks natural.
Looking gorgeous!!! Plus your hair will grow with the sew in!
Gorge!!!
Cute hair. I agree that it does look natural, would not have known if you didn’t mention “sew in weave.” Whomever did it, did a great job. I’m natural myself and I know that the “in between stages” are tough. I had to put braids in because I did not know what else to do. My hair was easier to manage when it was very short (boy short) or long enough to pull in a bun. And, lol on your daughter’s reaction. Too funny!
OMG! It’s soo pretty and so are you! I am taking the leap to go natural w/ my daughter. She’s 10 and decided that she was ready. Wish I would’ve never permed it in the first place, but you live and learn. But it’s so hard to find styles that suit her but are not so babyish. I truly love your style and also love to read your blog. I feel like I get my ‘baby’ fix by following you and the other new moms whose blogs I love to read.
You look great.
